i sometimes wish that i was one of those women who can do anything in heels. like sarah jessica parker, she can run a marathon in her mahnolo blahniks. alright, i wouldn't want to go as far as being able to run a marathon, but at least being able to do a bit more in them. i guess it all just depends on the shoe....now if only i had the killer legs to with the perfect shoe!

i think i've come to realise that i'm more a creature of habit that i care to admit... there are the times when i don't mind doing something new, something (maybe) a little more adventurous, but other than that, what do i do everyday?i get up, i go to work, i do my work, i sometimes meet my friends after work, i come home, shower, and go to sleep..
or maybe it's not me, maybe it's this whole having to go to work and earn your keep thing.. it's a real damper on any social life you might want to have!
hmm, i think dido's got it right, when she says that all i want to do is thank you, for the best days of my life.. we should just all be thankful for what we have, not complain about what we don't.

okay, i admit it, i'm kinda impressed with the playstation 2.at first i thought that it can't really be that different from the first one, apart from the fact that it plays DVDs too, but hey, that's what a DVD player is for right? *grins* but it turns out that even the controller can detect how hard you're pressing the buttons, and the character on screen will correspond likewise!

i've had a delightful and a pretty good shopping day today! i went to parkway parade with my mom and sharon, and we all managed to find stuff that not only fitted us really well, but also made us look pretty damn good. *Grins* and although it may not sound like a hard thing to do, living in a world full of awfully skinny people, it is!!
i've been saying that i have skinny issues - i don't like skinny people! ahahaha..
yea i know, i probably should just get my ass to the gym, and make myself into a skinny person, but i guess i'm just fated to be an 'above average' sized person.
that's certainly another thing that i miss about melbourne, at least the clothes there fit alot better! it's not so depressing to go shopping!
my sister and i have been watching moulin rouge for the last few days, and i think we may have overdone it a bit, i've pretty much got all the lines memorised, and at night i keep getting the songs from the soundtrack stuck in my head!

alright, so i don't usually like to get into the whole send-everyone-you-know-a-cupid/heart-card, but i have to admit, that everyone's been in the spirit of valentines this year, and it's kinda made me in the spirit too! i havent' recieved any cards, but it's kinda hard to not to feel all the looooooooove in the air when everyone keeps telling (almost yelling) at me HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

it's chinese new year again, which means another few days of torture and being dragged around to places we don't really want to go to, eating food tha we shouldn't be eating too much of, and melting under the damn hot sun which always always seems to know when we have to sit outdoors in the sun and when we have to be indoors in the shade.*sigh*
i know some people always look forward to chinese new year and all the fun stuff, but i don't think chinese new year has ever been fun for me! the only really fun bit is the shopping for new clothes beforehand, but even that gets to be a drag sometimes because you have to fight with the rest of the singapore who have got the same idea.
*sighs again*
my only consolation is that at least i'm getting the whole week off work. (oh my god, i nearly put school instead of work!!!)
maybe it's time to go back to bed..

i think it's been a while since i wrote! or at least it feels that way..this past weekend i'd have to say, was pretty damn good! there was lots of laughter, and lots of fun, and that's how every weekend should be i'd say, instead of just lying around the house trying to catch up on sleep. i don't think there's ever a time when you can properly catch up on sleep, and i'd much rather just go out and have more fun, create more memories than just sit at home and 'relax'. there's certainly nothing more relaxing than spending time with your friends and just laughing the night away. :)
i met up with my friends on saturday night, and for a change we decided to go to haagen dazs instead! which is really odd, because all this time that we've been going to holland village, we never really thought of going to haagen dazs, despite the fact that hardly any of us drink coffee at night! that's really how we got round to deciding to go there, we figured there was no point in going to a coffee place if no one was going to drink it! ahahahah ...
ahhh.. life is good sometimes, ain't it?

in the words of beth orton and the chemical brothers: "where do i start? where do i begin?" unfortunately i don't have the same spiffy guitar riff going in the background, but i guess it'll have to do!
work's getting busier and busier the last few days, on thursday i left the office at about 12 30, and just spent the rest of the day running around all over the place trying to get stuff done. it was NOT a good day to wear my mock turtle neck top!! but oh well, it's over, and things got finished on time :) all i can say is that some people out there really don't seem to want publicity for their companies.. how odd! i'd have thought that they'd be quite happy to have someone cover the things that they're doing.. but nooooo... oh well, their loss not ours!
but on the other hand at least some events that i get to go to are pretty fun, even though i've missed out on a whole lot more because of scheduling conflicts! i went to one lasat night done by ikea, and i have to say, i think that's the best one yet so far! good work ikea people! *Claps*
and after that i had a mini girls night with sharon, juliana and seok bin, and what fun we all had!! it was great just being able to sit down, talk for a bit, and then just relax and have fun.. even though we had to stop talking for a while and start shouting after that because the music was too loud! ahahaha, but that's the first time in a long long long while (especially since i started working) that i've had that much fun! thanks guys :))
ooh, and on another note, david letterman has made it to his 20th anniversary of late night tv! GO DAVE!!
