today is the last official day of winter! hurrah! i've always liked spring and autumn alot more because they're the in-between seasons where it's cool enough to wear a shirt and a skirt, but not too hot to bake me dry or too cold to freeze me to death!*prances around*
been waiting eagerly for this weekend's f1 race, it just seems like it's been much much too long since the last race!
okay, everyone's going to think i'm weird, but i'm just an f1 addict :) ahahahah

ahhh it's wednesday! the mid week point where the week is either half over or half starting! ahahah :)it's already week 7 in school and the time just seems to be flying by in a flash, before i know it i'll probably be sitting around in a rocking chair telling stories of how i used to write in a blog to my grandkids!
at least it kinda seems to be warming up a bit.. either that or my jackets have started to work more efficiently! i can't wait for spring, then i can wear more of my skirts already! YAY!

i did my first lesson of pilates today and what a wonderful thing it is! i should have done this a long long time ago! i think i worked out muscles i wasn't even sure that i had in the first place! and the thing that i loved about it was that i wasn't sweating buckets at the end of it, in fact, i wasn't even sweating that much in the first place! but it still gives your muscles a really good workout..ab muscles, here i come!!
i would have probably felt alot better about it had i gotten a good night's sleep last night.. i kept tossing and turning all night long.. not great when you're trying to sleep!

what a day it's been! first off i went to the museum with lorraine and rutti to have a look at this exhibit called 'from renoir to picasso'.. not bad actually, some of the paintings are really beautiful! and then we hung around town for a while having coffee (well, i had ice lemon tea) and then went to see bridget jone's diary after that.. it's such a charmingly sweet movie! i think it's probably a really good date movie, and one of those that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.. and knowing me, i'm such a sucker for romantic movies.. *wipes away a tear*and to top it off i'm having the yummiest western australian white wine!
what more could i ask for?

oh dear what terribly miserable winter weather.. it's 12 degrees outside, and i do believe it's juststarted raining, which means that it'll probably get colder in a while after this too! *sigh*and all this just has to happen on the day that i have to go and get a radio interview done, which believe me is the one thing i don't like doing :/
on the bright side today being monday means that it's week 6 in school and i only have 7 weeks left! i can't believe it's almost the halfway mark already! where does the time go?
i've been surfing and having a look at this site ad critic and it's got the funniest ads that i've ever seen! if you're bored one of these days and you need a laugh, then i suggest you go see this site, sure won't disappoint!

ahhhh i am finally going to get my formula one fix tonight! after three weeks of no races tonight there's finally another one! *instant relief*yes yes, you might say i'm an addict, but hey, at least it's a healthy addiction.. could be worse you know.. i could be addicted.. god no, the internet instead! ahaha.. :)

work work work i feel like i'm buried! i just hate it when all the assignments are due at the same time.. even when you try to plan as carefully as you can, you never seem to end up with enough time to finish it all anyway! *grrrr*

if you guys ever get the chance to watch chris rock : bigger and blacker, i suggest you do! although seeing what the singapore censors are like, i guess that's a bit hard. but it's the funniest hour i've spent in a long long time! and there's nothing better than just being able to sit back and laugh for an hour :)

week 5 and just 8 more to go! and i've already finished one assignment that's due next week.. but the bad news is that i have another two due next week too, so hopefully i can get round to the other ones sometime soon and not have to worry about handing in work late! *giggles*am half watching the fifth element at the same time, and i just love this movie! okay, so the costumes are alittle far out for me (what do you expect from JPG?) but hey, i like futuristic movies!

i just watched while you were sleeping for like the billionth time. what can i say? i just love love love that movie! i never seem to get sick of it, and it's one of those movies that i've watched over and over again, but it hasn't gotten to the point where i've memorised the lines just yet, so it feels like i'm watching it for the first time every time i watch it. a bit like toy story 2! i think i must have watched that at least 10 times, and i still love it! to infinity...... and beyond!i guess i'm just a cinema student through and through :)
still trying hard at my attempt to get well.. sometimes i think it's working, and other times it just seems like nothing's changed at all! is it too much to ask that i at least have my health back? if not, why can't they make up for it and give me the wealthy and wise bit to compensate?!?!

still coughing, but i finally finally went to see a doctor today, and yes, he gave me some antibiotics, so hopefully i'll get rid of this cough by the end of the week! YAY!

i think i'm on my way to getting better! i spent most of the day breathing through my nose instead of my mouth (what a wonderful change!) although i have to admit that it did get all blocked up again while i was watching stepmom. i'm a softie i admit it, a big hearted softie!! but i'm proud of it!i spent another weekend just lazing around at home, trying to get as much rest as possible.. and i guess it's starting to pay off! and i don't think i've drunk so much water in my life either! i'm surprised i haven't just dissolved into a pool of liquid.. okay, let's not go there :P
tomorrow is the start of week 4.. i've been here a month already! amazing how the time just goes sometimes, even when you complain that you're bored and there's nothing to do.. you wake up and a new day has started already! okay, so you can tell i'm easily amused :P
happy birthday to the queen mother, she's 101 today! i wonder if she sent herself a telegram when she turned 100..... :P

gosh, sometimes i tend to forget that sleep is so underrated. i got up at about 4 am last night, and tossed in bed till about 6 am, then slept till 8 am, and drifted in and out of sleep till 10 am! i swear that must be the worst way to get sleep when you're trying to get rid of illnesses! *Grrr*i think maybe it's time to break out the industrial strength drowsy medicine!!
on a bright bright note, CONGRATULATIONS! to angel on nailing that job at harper's bazaar!! does that mean that i'll be joining you in lots of new fashion shows and testing out new products?? ;)

now i know why i'm totally such an arts student. the reception downstairs printed out a receipt for me for all the payments i've made (rent and the like) and i had the toughest time trying to balance it out! in fact, i still don't think it balances! *rolls eyes* i think i should just stick to doing my arty farty things!i finally watched a clockwork orange, and i have to admit it was a lot more subdued than i thought.. i guess it was because everyone else who had watched it kept telling me 'it's super violent! VERY VERY violent'!! so by the time i got to watching it, i was expecting alot more violence! but nonetheless, it's a pretty good show!
oh! it's the first of a new month! i know there's a cute little rhyme about pinching and poking someone coz it's the first day of the month... but somehow i can never remember it properly!
