i'm insanely jealous. absolutely green! i can't believe that cindy got to meet not just TRAVIS but COLDPLAY! and she took pictures with them all and got autographs! i swear she must be a closet groupie. although she denies it because apparently only groupies carry banners and scream. i guess she must be the poster girl for subtle discreet groupies then! ahahaha :Ptoday has been one of the sunniest winter days i've seen in a long long time! it's almost 5 pm, and it's still sunny! okay, so that might sound odd to you people out there, but winter time in melbourne usually means that it gets dark by 5 pm.. which i have to admit is very disorientating, esp when you go into a class when it's bright and sunny, and come out two hours later at 5 pm in pitch black! *shudder*
the bad news however is that i've got a nasty sore throat now, and i think i'm going to start sounding like man soon!

ahhh sometimes you just gotta love those lazy sundays... i spent the whole day at home, quite willingly of course and just did the lazy things. sat in front of the computer, surfed what must have been the whole internet, and i even managed to get some work done!what more could you ask for?

i did some major spring cleaning today! although my house doesn't look that much different, it does have a more minimalist feel to it :P i figured i might as well start getting rid of some of the things that i don't need before i have to do it all at the end of the year. it turns out i had SEVEN pillows! gosh! what would anyone want seven pillows for! i've only got the one bed! ahahaha, but i did donate alot of the stuff to charity.. might as well give back to society!i also managed to watch final fantasy the other day.. hmm.. what can i say about it? well, the animation's good! really good in fact! but don't look for any oscar winning storylines lah :P
hmm.. i hope it's a lazy weekend ahead... i'm in a lazy weekend mood!

i just went to go and watch love on a diet and it's such a funny movie! i think as a cinema student i ought to be ashamed because i probably don't watch enough chinese and foreign films :P but if you were planning on watching it, i highly recommend it! *two thumbs up* it was worth the walk in the freezing cold to go and see it, so you know it must have been worth it!it seems the weather here just gets colder and colder by the day, tomorrow's forecast is 7 - 14 degrees! and that's without the wind either! *shivers* even with my three layers on i was still shivering in the wind. and my nose! i think i lost it somewhere along the street because it froze and fell off!! ok ok, i better stop going on about the cold before all of you decide never to talk to me again :P

the weekend seems to fly by in such a flash sometimes! i spent the whole of saturday morning helping people move.. i think i did enough exercise to last me a year! *grins* but at least i was doing some good while getting that exercise :)i've actually been a good girl and started working on my first radio assignment already! *beams* but then again that's always been my habit.. start early and then forget about it till the last minute! but not this time (hopefully!!)
i really miss home right now.. just want to be back with friends and family again, to be able to sit down over a coffee (or tea!) and just chat the day away.. it's amazing how we always find so much to talk about, even if we see each other everyday! *giggles* i've been sitting in front of the computer with the heater going at my feet.. i think i may have lost feeling in them!

i've officially finished one week of school! and boy am i tired already :P *grins* okay, so it's not that bad, but i guess i just have to get used to the 9 30 am classes. *sigh* but on the bright side, 1 week down, 12 more to go! from the looks of it, i think i can be back in singapore by the first week of november! YAY!

*Tadah again!* here's number two! looks like i'm doing pretty good for myself so far eh? *grins* not much to report today though, just been helping rutti and windsor move into their new apartment (which is really just about as far away from me as RMIT is :P) but we couldn't really get much done because the electricity hasn't been connected yet. and in typical style the electricity company just said they'd send someone around between 'now and 6 pm'.. well, it' 6 15 pm now, and when i'd left their place the electricity guy still hadn't arrived yet! *Shakes head*it's been a normal winter day, pretty chilly and of course rainy! but i guess it still beats singapore's humidity and heat :P ok ok, i won't say anymore before you guys think i'm trying to rub it in (which i'm not really!)
going to watch 'someone like you' tonight! i've heard really mixed reviews about it, but hopefully it'll be good :)

*tadah!* and here i am with my very first blog.. i don't know how long i'll keep it up or update it, but hopefully it'll be often enough to let the world be updated with the gossip and going ons with my life in melbourne :)it seems a tad bit odd to be back here again, like i'm not supposed to be here, but at the same time it has that eerie familiarity of knowing where everything is and where to go. hmm.. guess it must be one of the hazards of having too many homes. that and you accumulate waaaay too much junk.
the weather here of course is gorgeous as it always is, especially when it's compared to singapore :P it was slightly chilly today, and i'm trying to get used to thinking in terms of layers for my clothes. hopefully it won't get any colder, otherwise i'm going to have to start raiding the shops in search of warmer outfits. what the hell, i might as well raid them anyway! *giggles*
yesterday was the first day of school! *Drum roll* quite uneventful.. i'm doing a repeat of a year one subject, so the lecturer (who i swear is gay but i found out just got married and is having a kid.. hmmmm...) just went on and on and on and on about what radio students do in second and third year.. *yawn* been there done that.
hopefully school will start to get a little bit more interesting.. but then again, who am i kidding? it's school!
